He couldn't find Jeremie, but at least the power came back on. Huh, maybe Jeremie already figured the security error out, or perhaps someone else did. Either way, this was very good news.

He'd better try and visit the replica of Miami that came with him real soon. This was what he's assumed ever since he's first arrived in the Ring. And what a day it's been for him. Three others who must have come here like him had dark energies that was making the Passenger start to go stir-crazy. Handling it was sort of like taking a dog for a walk; one could ignore the whining and scratching at the door for so long. Then, you must take the beast out for a walk. From encountering all the things just like Dexter's Passenger, its want to find a play date was present.

Dexter found the nearest wall panel and opened the map up. On the touch screen he scrolled, and on the keypad he pressed the buttons to view the three-dimensional model of the Ring's interior. Just as expected when he watched government agent and former cop Leon work the map, he found out where the world he's from was located. According to the diagram, Miami was a large portion of the outer areas surrounding the corridors and rooms of the Ring. The user friendly device had an option to zoom in on that particular area to see a gray three dimensional of Miami, with the tall buildings, the docks, the more suburban neighborhoods. He zoomed in as far as possible to see the names of the places he knew. So, it really is all there. This technology just astounded him.

The computer's lovely monotone voice chimed, "There are two routes to go to your world--walk the long way over to the barrier, or take the short way through the transport room."

"Thanks," Dexter said cheerily. Of course, only on the surface did he appear happy, but on the inside there was just relief.

No reply came back from the computer, but that was alright. If it spoke only when needed to, Dexter could live with that. At least he was feeling less lost. He could feel the Passenger stretch and sharpen its claws, trying to bide its time until everything was ready.

--As Dexter Vessel proceeded to go to the transport room, it was settling in its cage, or trying to rather. Coming across three different things, one definitely like itself, in a single day was getting to be too much. This has never really happened before. The Need was going to come soon. If it couldn't have that dark thing that was living inside the man who wore the grease paint, then it would just have to have another. Soon.--
