Goin' 2 The "Show"
Last Friday I went to go see Shanghai Knights, good flick, i'd have to say Jackie Chan's best film to date. (that'll give ya something to argue with me about) But Mr. Chan is not the reason why I was there, thats rights.. melissa knows what i'm talkin about... Owen Wilson!! Some people think that he is ugly and retarded looking and always eventually will point out his crooked nose. But their negativity cannot change my mind, I like him BECAUSE of his nose, not in spite of it. How can anybody talk bad about a guy with such a great personality and sense of humor is beyond me...yeah i know he was in that movie "The Royal Tannembaums" but everyone is entitled to a mistake every now and then, and Owen, if your reading this... I FORGIVE U!!!
Then, teh very next day I went and say Owens Brother, Luke, in "Old School." Also a very good flick but i must say that i laughed harder and more often during shanghai knights. Especially at the end when jackie chan means to say "baby sister" and says "baby sitter" (hey, what can i say, i love outtakes, it should be madatory for movies to have them at the end.) Back to Luke's movie, although he is just a every bit of dreamy as Owen he just doesnt do it for me as much as Owen does. He just doesnt have the same, uh whats the word....owenness.
Writers note: These are my thoughts in the perspective of a 14 year old girl, because i believe that is what we all are on the inside, just a scared little 14 year old girl. (maybe im wrong, but i doubt it.) i just wanted to clear that up, cause im not gay er nothin. (grunt, grap my croch, spit, fart, burp.)
I also sometime back in the day went and saw the new steve martin movie, actually i didn't laugh very much at it but i think that was just because i wasnt in the mood, i find that mood is very important when watching a movie, my mood can make a dumb movie spectatularly hilarious, or a good action movie boring, or it can make "The Roayal Tannembaums" not the worst movie ever.
By the way, who is Lin? and melissa it is always better to overdress rather than underdress. Think about, what would be worse, i show up in cowboy boots, chaps with no pants and a Dale Earnhardt T-shirt and everyone else is dressed up all nice, or i show up in a nice suit and everyone else is wearing casual pants and nice shirts and ties, because i've never heard of a reception that people went to in just regular clothes like t-shirts and bluejeans, those aren't called receptions those are called Shin-digs.
or if your from my neck of the woods they could be called ho-downs, gatherin's or barn dances.
