Poetry & AIDS Walk

The poetry group I lead meets this coming Thursday. I'm still working on what we'll cover..... and by working I mean I am trying to decide between two ideas. I wish I had more time because then I wouldn't decide because we'd do both. It comes down to-- writing in a certain form or drawing some information from a hat. BLA... I may take both

Done the last two. I was hoping to have enough money this year to buy a pair of spring stilts to see if I could do the walk that way. I know a few people who do it every year in heels as a challenge. I walk with the New York City Gay Men's Chorus

That sounds fun. I'm a wuss, so I'll keep it to comfy shoes this year (plus, it will be my first). I did participate in a diabetes walk last year-- it was fun.

I'm getting together a group of friends. We're going to be Team Truvy. ;-P

I did enjoy Cher in MERMAIDS. I wasn't a fan of MOONSTRUCK though.

Definitely have to take the gay card for a while, but you can earn it back.
