Poetry & AIDS Walk
The poetry group I lead meets this coming Thursday. I'm still working on what we'll cover..... and by working I mean I am trying to decide between two ideas. I wish I had more time because then I wouldn't decide because we'd do both. It comes down to-- writing in a certain form or drawing some information from a hat. BLA... I may take both ideas to the table and let them decide.
I know the AIDS walk isn't until October, but I'm trying to develop a team now. Last year I signed up for the AIDS walk, but I ended up doing nothing. I refuse to fuck up again this year. A few peeps from work are going to join me. I'm working on an idea to use poetry to make some money to donate to the walk.
