"Don't 'yada-yada' the Lord, Harry. It's disrespectful."
--Knight Templar Michael Carpenter speaking to Wizard Harry Dresden, Grave Peril
I bought a couple more of the Harry Dresden books on CD while I was at MegaCon, "Grave Peril" and "Summer Knight" at the Buzzy Multimedia booth. James Marsters reads them, and they're very entertaining. Plus, it helps me review some of the past events in Harry's life, before I read "White Knight" and the upcoming "Small Favor".
I also bought two B/W T-shirts at the same booth (actually, I bought one, and I got one free for buying the books on CD). One, which I gave to Kate as a belated birthday present, says "Ask me about my vow of silence". If they still have them at Dragon*con, I'm going to buy one for myself.
I'm wearing a fabulous hat today. At least, I think it's fabulous. It's like a breton meets a bubble toque meets the Mad Hatter. I'll have pictures tomorrow.
If anyone out there wants to make Blood Ties icons, please, make them now and enter them in Challenge 49 over at
bloodtiesstills. It's all about the women this week, and no one seems to be entering any icons, except me. And I'm the moderator. :-\
