I have a new fandom.
And we all know what that means. Icons!
I've started making my own Leverage icons, and I'm having quite a bit of fun at it. But I'm only able to make icons tonight, because my virus scan is disabled.
Why, you ask?
I am having the weirdest thing going on with my home computer. If my virus scan shows as disabled when I log on, my computer works just fine, without too many delays or problems, other than the slowness you get with dial-up. But if a McAfee update loads, and the virus scan is enabled, I can't get the damn computer to do anything. It takes forever to load the desktop. It won't open Explorer. It grinds and grinds and grinds. And sometimes it just freezes up and won't do anything, include restart. I have to unplug the damn thing and start all over again, but unless virus scan disables between shut down and restart, it just starts grinding again. I don't know if the problem is McAfee, the fact that I have dial-up, or the fact that my computer is 8 years old.
