An update on Nod!
Well, his bone marrow was sent to two different labs. One said he tested negative for kittie leukemia. The other said he tested positive. O_o Riiiiiiiight...
So, his doctor is going with the idea that it was just a virus. He doesn't want to give Nod steroids or anything because they may kill him if they are wrong. So my mom just has to watch him closely for a while to see if he acts lethargic again. Lately, though, he's been his old feisty self, so we're hoping that means he's in the clear. The doc's best guess is that all the cats (he has two sisters, Winkin and Blinkin) were infected with the virus, but he was just weak enough that it attacked him extra roughly.
Still not sure what was up with those lab results... We're going more with the negative results because those were obtained through CSU's Veterinary Hospital, and they have a very prestigious notoriety.
