I think the good living habits are all about trial and error. Trust me, there was more than one mold issue before I finally figure out that "hum...if I leave dishes out, they get gross." and "oh, I'm an adult now...I live by myself...My mommy isn't here to fix my mistakes."

As far as cleaning goes, it's easiest for me to focus on one room/area at a time. Otherwise it's overwhelming and I don't do anything at all while sitting on the couch thinking about how much stuff I have to clean/organize. But I live on my own, so it's different since it's all my stuff to organize or choose to leave in a heap (and I have lived with your current roomie before, so I know the clutter can get a little crazy).

To help break my slightly worrying wow addiction (I was the top Warlock on my server a year ago and I freaked out anytime someone came close to beating me) I hid my laptop from myself. I didn't leave it sitting on my couch or my desk, I forced myself to put it away on a shelf or in the closet so I wouldn't see it and think about video games. Sitting on the couch watching netflix probably isn't much better, but atleast you can multitask or be semi-social while watching movies. Just my 2 cents because you sound frustrated, and I have gone through similar freak outs and bouts of hopelessness when considering my life/goals/plans/living situation.

That is a very good idea! Thanks doll! Hide laptop. It's my main culprit. Usually, I'm like "I'll clean the living room! Right after I check my farm and play Sims Social..." and then 30 minutes have gone by and my living room still isn't clean.
