So many new things! For starters: HEATHER IS HOME!!! FINALLY! I took her 12 hours longer than originally planned, because her flight was cancelled out of Chicago and she had to take the Amtrak. I'm sure she'll write all about it at her blog. She's artsystrange . Yesterday for me was 12 hours of moping, watching zombie movies, running to the airport (twice! because the second time we had to pick up her luggage but not actually her.) Finally, at like 10 pm, we loaded up in the car - me, mom, dad and Heather's bf Mark - and went to the Amtrak station. And I stood there with my little smiley face balloon for another half an hour, and then SHE WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR! She is so pretty! I mean she's always been pretty, but not seeing your sister for two months and then suddenly seeing her again? Makes her very pretty.

Secondly, I found a place to live! Its right on the corner of St Clair and Fairview, next to the Wine Thief. (I don't like wine, so this isn't particularly convenient for me, but still! What a great name for a wine shop!)  I'm renting with this woman named Wendy, who seems really nice. New age-y, is into meditation, used to be a dancer. I have my own room, and we share everything else. I'll post pictures! It's a tiny house, but that's okay, because I don't really need a huge one. And my room is bigger than the one I have at home! The only thing that sucks is that Heather just got back, and now I have to move. But it's about a 15 min walk to St Kates, so I can meet up with her (and all my other lovely Katies!!) all the time. And use the gym! (Which I've totally been failing at this summer.)

I haven't watched A Very Potter Sequel yet, so everyone zip your lips about it! I'm gonna see if Heather wants to watch it when I get home from work. more than likely, she'll be sleeping though, considering she's basically gone 3 days on a bus/plane/train.

I don't really feel like writing a book review for The Hunger Games (mostly because I'm lazy), but it's really good! Everyone should read it! I gave it 5 stars! And Borders is having a release party for the third book in the series, and I'm gonna go! So you should read it and come to. Wheee nerdy book parties!

I should probably go work on Kate's story before she skins me alive, and also maybe do something productive in the library? (But we're only open 4 hours today! How much productivity can I really be expected to have?)
Love love love!

P.s. I am on the lookout for a new purse/bag. The Pasta Sauce Incident has permenantly stained my Alice in Wonderland bag, and I'm getting sick of my purple purse (plus it keeps fraying. Eww.) Any suggestions? I'm thinking of looking on Etsy for something steampunk-y.

nerd, i miss my sister, yay!, reading, books
