my day, in a nut shell
IcE 091298: well, my dads company moved boston
IcE 091298: but they still had furniture and shit in rockville
IcE 091298: and they donated some to my dads other business, the after school program
IcE 091298: so they could use it as a tax writeoff
IcE 091298: so i left this morning around 8 and got a uhaul to get the shit for him
IcE 091298: got there 9ish, and they showed me what furniture there was
IcE 091298: fuckin shitload..... didnt think it would fit all in there
IcE 091298: it was about that time i noticed liquid dripping from the engine, so i look closer and the things leaking coolant worse than i sweat
IcE 091298: call up uhaul central office, and they send some repairman, who took forever to get tehre
IcE 091298: meanwhile im loading the shit up, and once again, theres A LOT
IcE 091298: the repairman gets tehre about the time i finish, and its jam packed in there
IcE 091298: the guy starts tweaking around wiht it, and the rest of the coolant spills out.
IcE 091298: looked like the hose had a hole in it, so he fixed that, started it up, and it spewed out even more.
IcE 091298: half an hour later, the water pump craps itself, and now theres coolant all over teh place, and the truck is basically fucked.

IcE 091298: so he calls uhaul, tells them its hopeless. they tell me theyre going to send another truck
IcE 091298: and i was like fuck no, im not unloading and loading that shit again
IcE 091298: the mechanic cleans up the mess and leaves, and im sitting there waiting for the tow truck
IcE 091298: round 1 ish he finally shows up, in a HUGE wrecker
IcE 091298: load the truck on, secure it, etc etc, and we start heading to the office in columbia with the truck in tow
IcE 091298: stop at this fuel place just for trucks to fill up, and on the way out
IcE 091298: as we pull onto east gude, going through the bumpy ass intersection
IcE 091298: i feel a huge "bang" and hear screeeching
IcE 091298: i look in the mirror
IcE 091298: and the uhaul is sliding through the intersection

IcE 091298: i look at him, he look at me, were both like =-Ooh fuck
BsBSugar9: LOL im glad i dont have to do anything like that
IcE 091298: so he stops the wrecker
IcE 091298: and jumps into the uhaul and drives it to behind the wrecker
IcE 091298: the truck drives, but for like 20 feet before it starts spewing coolant everywhere and overheating
IcE 091298: took a while to get it loaded up again, this time used double straps to make sure it stayed in place
IcE 091298: rest was pretty boring in comparison; managed to get back to the columbia office and unload everything, then towed the truck back to the uhaul rental place
IcE 091298: with the uhaul being towed the whole time back, it only registered the 16 miles from driving there, nor was i able to put gas in it. i guesss that was my discount
