So yay, I'm back bitches. Two wonderful days in New York City with Anna, the highlight of my summer. You know what that means.....picture time 
after missing our first bus from the ghettos of baltimore and then dealing with an asshat bus who wouldnt let us on (we passed his broken down bus on the way there though, so take that) we finally arrived at the port authority in new york. hot as hell outside, but finally there.
we walked around for a while, but i neglected to take my camera out. we ended up having lunch at a gay mexican restaurant called empanada mamas. the food was great, but i think we were the only other non straight couple there
. wandered around for a while, visited some sites, and checked into our hotel in the afternoon.

anna showered while i took a nap (lack of sleep) and we went out for dinner at Ruth's Chris steakhouse on 51st street. unfortunately, i forgot i had my camera
so no pics there. but the food was delicious, absolutely worth the high price.
afterwards, we wandered around the city some more, taking in the sights, the people, etc. still hot as a mofo outside, so i was all sweaty but anna didnt mind and still put her arms around me.
after remembering i actually had my camera, i decided to fool around with the manual settings and take some pictures. most ended up blurry because i couldnt hold my hands still worth a shit, but a few came out fairly well.

more new york.....we went around to some of the stores including the butt sex store (tiffany's) and looked around. from there we embarked on our journey to the met, with backpacks on because we already checked out of the hotel. doh
after 30 some blocks in 90+ degree weather, we finally made it. a shot from the upper floor of the met. thank god for ac

we ended up eating lunch at the museum cafeteria because well, we were hungry and didnt want to walk any further out. eventually we left the museum after wandering around for a few more hours looking at the exibits. this time though, we took a cab back rather than walk.
stopped at a lil chinese restaurant off 46th to grab a quick bite before heading back to the bus station.
so long, new york. the bus terminal was horrible, so overcrowded. just our luck, the line for our terminal stretched waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back. luckily they kept bringing buses in so it didnt take too long. there was a couple about our age on the bus who apparently came from maine (?) and realised that the bus route, even with switching buses in bmore would not go to carolina that night like they had hoped. the girl was throwing a total bitch fit at him. i found it rather hillarious because she was getting so worked up and panicky. later when we stopped in wilmington deleware and people got off, i looked back and they were in separate rows of seats, the girl aparently still pissy.
i tried to take a few quick photos, but with manual setting w/o flash they turned out rather ghost like. with traffic and all, we ended up back in baltimore around 1230ish. unfortunatly, the tolls on 95 were backed up to hell, so we drove around in baltimore for a good while looking for a way back. anna dropped me off around 130, and thus marked the end of a great trip with someone very special to me
