Author's Note: A while back I did a meme, basically, there are five questions. Someone picks a pairing, and I answer the questions for that particular pairing. Except I'm me, which means I answered them with drabbles.
1. Tell you who I think tops (or if they fight for it/switch up).
When Arthur has sex, she does so very meticulously. Precise and fierce, a dip of her tongue here and a brush of fingers there. She does it like she's memorizing a fight between the knights. Like this is her taking notes on something that she wants to do a lot one day.
Emrys, for her part, doesn't particularly mind. The Once and Future Queen is hers- and maybe one day Arthur will fall in love and bear some man's children and will definitely rule over Albion, but she is bound to Emrys, like Emrys is bound to her.
Two sides of the same coin.
2. Who has the prettiest hair
As Arthur's maid, it's her who gets to pick the tangles and brambles out of her hair whenever she's been off cavorting with the knights in a very un-princesslike way.
It also annoys Emrys to no end.
"Are they even good?" she grits out through a smile, tugging a bit too hard on a particularly cumbersome tangle.
"Ouch! Merlyn, be careful! And I'll have you know that yes, they're wonderful."
Emrys' heart sinks.
"I mean, they always do what I tell them to. They're terribly slow and get tired too easily, but if I have them rush me at once, it's at least a bit fun."
Emrys can feel her eyes going wide, and she stares down at Arthur's head for a moment in absolute horror. For her part, Arthur just hums.
"Arthur!"
Arthur twists around to look at her, a puzzled frown on her face. "What?"
Her face is red, she can feel it. She must look like a tomato about now. "You can't- yo- you can't just say those things!"
Arthur smirks. "And yet I can do them? How does that logic work?"
"You- you're a princess! The princess! Your father would skin you alive if he heard about this!"
At the mention of her father, Arthur's smile slips off her face. "Father would probably just say that I'd do it better if I was a boy."
Emyrs splutters. "What?"
"At least then they'd look at me as equals rather than a fragile piece of glass?"
"Arthur- you can't just talk about your- your sexual exploits where anyone can hear!"
"My sexua- what?"
"You-"
Arthur throws her a glare and flops back onto her bed. "We were practicing, Merlyn. With swords."
Emrys deflates. "Oh."
Another glacial glower. "Yes, Merlyn. Oh."
3. What their children will be named
Arthur falls in love with a man named Guin- Prince Morgan's manservant.
During the second year of her reign, she makes him her King.
There are no children between them, and some suspect that Arthur may be unable to bear children, the same way that her mother could never keep them.
During the sixth year of her reign, Guin falls in love with Arthur's favorite knight.
The seventh year dawns and two things happen- the first: Arthur bears a child, the second: Guin runs away with Lancelot.
The child is not Guin's.
For all that Emrys wishes it could be, it is not hers either. She knows better than to involve magic with births. The cost would be too much.
The child is Morgan's- an attempt to usurp the throne from his sister some day. An attempt that would have worked if Morgan had been the one to keep the child.
As it stands, Emrys raises the child with Arthur as if it were hers.
The new princess' name is Mordred.
She loves them.
4. Which one would be the loudest during sex
"Merlyn- wait, no, Merlyn, not like that. Over a bit- yes, perfect., oh that's wonderful- Merlyn, Merlyn, Merlyn-" she sobs, shuddering through climax, thighs clenched tight around Emrys' hips.
Emrys laughs into the crook of her Queen's neck and hopes that she didn't wake the whole castle.
5. My ideal scenario for them
Really, my ideal scenario is three. Good end!
(Also, lady!Merlin and lady!Arthur. Because I always imagine her as gs-Merlin.)
