oh no! Me! Me! I hated it. Loathed it. Sat here with it turned down or on mute and wondered what the fuck they've done to my show - because that shit ain't it.
The angels? Can go the fuck away now. Every last one of them.
And then sad because I just don't give a shit anymore. :/
But I think next week might be my last time watching SPN. These characters aren't even close to who they started out with despite the actors' best efforts to stay consistent,
Man, I can see Jensen and Jared working so hard to make that shit believable within the context of the characters they've built, and it's like *painful* to watch. Sigh. Unless next week is the best episode of SPN ever in existence, I am just tired. I was sitting there thinking, "I should've watched 'Grey's Anatomy.'" And whenever anyone thinks those words, that's a bad sign :P
I feel bad for Jared and Jensen. They have to do the material they're given and they've done well with it. It's not their fault and I still adore them, it's just... WHAT?
I kept looking at my book and thinking about picking it up, but then it might have gotten good! And I might miss it! Or blink (and miss it)!
I quit around mid third season. I just...got bored. And the whole angel deal in season four keeps me from touching the series. My favorite character was Sam, but...not sure the one around right now is the same character I saw back then, either.
I read spoilers and episode reviews to keep up to date with everything, but unless I see something I might actually enjoy without getting bored, I'm not getting back into it.
When people enjoy writing more about the actors than the characters...*shrugs*
I haven't watched the last three or four episodes.
Supernatural is just, it's not a show I want to watch right now. Period. No amount of promises that it'll get better or charisma from the boys is going to change that. Maybe it'll turn around and become a show I like again, but I see no reason to put myself through watching it.
Which is a shame. But even as hard as I've been complaining, nothing has changed on the show.
It's just been lame and SO made of fail. I miss S1, when it was still trying to be a scary show about bigger things. Now it's just a gross show that forgets what it was trying to be about every 3 minutes.
Season 1 and Season 2 were never perfect, but they had things that made them so enjoyable. And now, in the wake of Season 3 and Season 4, the previous seasons seem positively transcendent! I guess I tricked myself into thinking that I really loved the show when, really, I loved one aspect of the show (Sam and Dean and their world ending love in all it's many manifestations). Now they're no longer interested in exploring and exalting in that aspect, there's nothing to keep me here.
Oh, he's the little kid that plays young!Sam. I'm never going to get over how cute I think he is.
I don't think it was a surprise that Lililth ate babies, just that Supernatural showed us her "chef" and the babies in question. If (and really, it's a matter of when) this detail is addressed further, I will die laughing. I think, for me, this show just doesn't know what's Too Far. Because I liked Monster at the End of this Book, it was definitely one of my favorite episodes this season, but I know it was definitely Too Far for some people and I totally understand that. I was surprised to see them cross the fourth wall like that at all (how often do you see it?) and in such a blatant way. I think it worked, but I understand why it didn't for some people, and now we see Lilith's babies. *shakes head* I just don't know what to do anymore. OH, SUPERNATURAL.

And see... why is it a surprise that Lilith eats babies? Wasn't that... obvious? I was just assuming that's what she ate.
