I think it probably is just that you re-read those lines so many times. I know I sometimes get paranoid I've lifted something from what I've read, though it would be totally unintentional judging from how poor my memory is *g*.
Broaching the slash subject is never easy. I think that's because there is still such a stigma surrounding it. I do tend to be of the mindset that if he really likes you he will be accepting of what you write about. I am with itstoned me, I mean if you look at the amount of girl on girl pron out there it's obvious that men find that a turn on so why can't the opposite be true? Everyone is so different in how they feel about sex and sexuality and how it pertains to their own. You never know what kind of reaction you're going to get. But it is part of what makes you ... you. If he's smart he won't feel threatened by it ;). You've already been able to convince him that being gay isn't something to hate so maybe he'll just need time to adjust to the writing aspect of things.
If it were me, and I was in your position, I guess I would run the possible outcomes and how I would feel about each one of those possibilities, then let that guide me. Does that make sense?
You totally make sense! And I agree that if he wants me for me, he would accept this. I think he would accept it, but I just feel like he would be weirded out. Like itstonedme said, the celeb aspect kind of makes it different from run-of-the-mill fiction. I mean, it's real people that are kind of fictitious... I dunno. I do not really know what I am thinking.
