SO, I call my brother today who lives in Virginia and I tell him that he and my other brother (who also lives in VA) owe me.  I explain that since I live in Pittsburgh, I'm the one that has to take care of my parents when they need something, especially medical help and advice.  Well, as some of you know, my dad had major hemorrhoid surgery ( Read more... )

awwww... poor mouse... i mean, poor pgh!

we had one in church once - someone managed to catch it in a milkbottle, but then no one seemed to know what to do with it.

i did manage to catch a spider the other day. it was only about half as big as me (ok, about two inches across, but you know what i mean), so i was brave.

OMG @ spider THAT big! I would just DIE! Seriously!

I am dead serious about needing to learn to deal with these irrational fears. This is ridiculous. Someone at work told me that, it is probably the "act of surprise" that gets me the most. Sitting there and having a mouse crawl out from under a desk might surprise anyone...right? (The screaming hysterically is what I need to work on)

That corpse of the 50lb spider nancy had in her basement is probably still there under the bag of rock salt she threw on it and then stood frozen for a few hours making sure it didnt come back out!!!!

i think the screaming hysterically is something that can be worked on in stages. next time, try to scream only mildly hysterically, and limit it to 20 minutes or so. before you know it you'll be screaming quietly for just ten minutes :o)

Have I told you lately that I love you? I was just thinking, "Thank God I know someone who is studying to be a Psychologist."
