So here we are at the end of this mad experiment known as Survivor Flatland. Maybe some of your ears are perking because you didn't expect me to be done until next week. It seems that I was able to be a little more efficient, and so I managed to do all of the Tribal Council, the preview for the 2nd episode, and the confessional all between yesterday and today. That means (wait for it) Survivor Flatland is done! Woo! Actually, that's a little off. I'm still encoding the final compiled version (taking each separate section and adding it to the whole). In fact, it's running as I type this. It'll take it 15 or 16 minutes to encode, then I'll have to watch it to make sure it looks fine, then it'll be time to burn it to a DVD. The final thing was 15 and a half minutes long. That's a little more than half the size of a real network show, and it's just a little larger than an Adult Swim type show. So yeah, it's done. To be honest, I'm quite glad. This thing's been sucking up my energy for a while now. I'm ready to have some time off to do stuff for myself and not just slave away at this thing. Who knows if that will actually happen though (what with midterms coming up soon and all). But yeah, it's done and over with and I don't have to edit 1322 images again. Hooray. Well I'm going to head off and probably do some school reading (I know, I'm the king of excitement). If anyone wants to celebrate my triumph, you know how to reach me. Enjoy the last clips of this episode. It'll be the last time you see Survivor Flatland (at least in the animated realm).
Note - This was written hours ago, but Youtube has taken forever to process my clips (I've even tried re-uploading a few times with no success).
Note 2 - Now it's been about 16 hours or so since I uploaded them to Youtube, and it seems like they are finally up. Enjoy.
Note 3 - Despite being posted at the exact same time as the other two, for some reason Greg's confessional still isn't available on Youtube. I'll make another post with it later.
