I'm getting excited
In a little over a month, on September 20th, we will be leaving for New Jersey. We are driving. I'm going to get to see my 3 grandsons, and my son and his wife. I haven't seen them since Gabe was 7 months old. He turns 4 tomorrow. I have never seen Lyle, and he is a little over a year.
We will be staying with my son, up in Kenilworth, NJ and make trips down to Neptune City to see Rays dad and his sisters. We were going to try to get into the City but don't know if we will have time. I want to eat at Benito's in Little Italy. I miss it. Ray also wants to visit the studios over at NJ101.5 where he use to be the chief engineer, and visit with a few friends, we are suppose to have lunch with the present engineer, who was Rays assistant when he ran the engineering department.
We are going to get to spend a few days with Chris and his family, then we have to head to Pennsylvania to get mom packed up, and her stuff in storage. Then make the long trip back to Las Vegas. We are going to be taking the Northern route, because Ray wants to stop at Yellowstone, so mom can see Old Faithful. She has never seen it. Lol...We are hoping that the roads won't be covered with snow already.
It's going to be interesting, because we will be traveling across county with moms cat. Michelle is staying here with our dogs and the two cats. It is going to be fun intergrating a new animal into the household. Mom's cat is the son of my oldest cat Tigger. Mom seems to thing that they will get along fine. What mom doesn't understand is that Tigger could care less that Boots is her son, she is just going to be pissed that another cat is invading her territory. And believe me, Tigger rules the other animals in this house. She is Queen of all she surveys.
