Just now I suddenly decided to break my snow dome. Of course, the only snow dome currently in my room is the one with my guardian angel inside. Well if this doesn't bring bad luck... But today I had good luck! As one might have guessed, I didn't make it to the book store last time, but I did today together with a friend of mine (also studying japanese). And because saturday is my birthday I decided to go all out today and spend a lot of money!
I bought another book for learning japanese. It's quite different from the one we use at university so some things I still might not be able to grasp. But I will do my best! And I know I can always ask my japanese friends that fact is quite reassuring.
Beside the book I also bought some tea, because my tea container is nearly empty. It's called Genmaicha and is incredibly delicious. Brown rice is mixed with the tea leaves so it has quite an unique flavour.
And last but not least, I was also able to buy a copy of the Septemper 2010 issue of "Junon"!!!
For practice I'm trying to translate some short articles of the magazines I own. I'm still not sure which to translate. I'm still a beginner, so it will take me some time and I won't be able to translate the long ones. In spite of that I'll be translating the one about Katou Kazukis new movie "Kamisama help!" because I would really like to watch it! Life is so unfair! But that will be the only long one I guess. Well and knowing myself and my current infatuation with Katou Kazuki I'm going to do that first.
And before I'll start with the new ones, there is still the May issue impatiently waiting for me. I already did some (pretty bad) work on those articles but there a still a lot left because of exam period and so on, so I'll be continuing that also.
For example, Daito Shunsukes or Kaku Kentos part of the article about "Tumbling" or the one about Matsushita Yuya.
And there is still more work waiting for me, namely an issue of "Only Star" from around May maybe? So no time to relax XD
Some things at last:
1. If there is even one person interested in my (probably crappy) translations, I'll be willing to share them from this point onward, just post a comment. (If not, than that means I won't, as easy as that)
2. I'll also accept requests, wishes or corrections, (If they are within my ablities). I just need the raw materials!!! e.g. scans or something like that
3. Sorry for my bad english!
4. I would like to thank my electronic dictionary and the person I got it from! Without it my japanese would be much worse!
So still hoping that my luck won't change!
Anticipating the All-you-can-eat sushi on friday!!!
