So, it hailed this evening -- blueberry-sized ice pellets pummelling the windows of my apartment. It flooded the sidewalk across the street and felled branches. A friend said she went out into the floods, and reported them as higher than her knees. It also flashed lightning long and huge and far away for many minutes first.
