I've managed to get an mp3 of the Dollhouse theme song, called "What You Don't Know" by Jonatha Brooke. For those of you who don't know, Brooke is a wonderful singer/songwriter whose lovely bluesy vocals are quite well-known in the folk arena. Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans will recognize her voice as singing the hauntingly lovely "Inconsolable," the song featured in the season one finale "Prophecy Girl" of Buffy's first season. You can also recognize her for her achingly beautiful song "I'll Try," which was the theme used in Peter Pan 2: Return to Neverland.
Brooke teamed with songwriter Eric Bazilian to create the dark, moody rock theme "What You Don't Know" for Dollhouse and aside from creating a haunting atmospheric theme song they also created a just a wonderful track in general. The song isn't widely available right now and FOX took the music video for it off of YouTube for reasons known only to themselves, so as a bit of graduation gift from me to anyone who wants it, I'll post the mp3 that I have. I obtained it off of the audio recording of the music video, but the quality is still high and it's almost unnoticeable that it is not, in fact, your average mp3.
Since you can't post media on LiveJournal, here's the link to my 4shared, where I've made it available:

What you don't know won't hurt you
Maybe the lies are true
Try to remember
Try to forget those
Yesterdays bleeding through
You'll never see me coming
You'll never know my name
Try to remember
Try to foget that
You'll never be the same
I could do anything
I could go anywhere
I could be anything
For anyone
Tonight
I could do anything
(Just want to sleep for a little while)
I could go anywhere
(Just want to sleep for a little while)
I could be anything
(Just want to sleep for a little while)
For anyone
Tonight
I'm already going
I'm already gone
There's a stranger in my place
You'll never find me
But I'll get along
Does the angel know my face?
--And a quick update - today I had to go in to my new university and take some stupid tests so they could make ensure that I didn't have to retake any of my general studies classes; I finished my reading/writing comprehension tests in a combined fifteen minutes, roundabouts, and I scored the highest score possible on reading and three points under that on writing. Everyone in the office was staring at me, but it was definitely worth it!
