Helen (haven't decided on a new name yet) has been able to explore most of the first floor of the house while we watch her, and since she now knows there's a wider world beyond her room she meows piteously whenever we leave her "locked up" in her room. If anyone has a primary doctor that they really like and would recommend to other people, I would gladly take suggestions. I'm sick of feeling unheard and having pills thrown at me for every reason under the sun.

- My dad is having surgery again tomorrow, this time for the removal of the thyroid so that cancer doesn't develop. This is a good thing, although still somewhat nervewracking. There will be lots of knitting tomorrow while waiting with my mom ( Read more... )

I got another migraine at work today... Sigh. It wasn't as bad as they usually are, as I strangely had no nausea at all. I was only down for about an hour or so, and while my head continued to feel like it was cracking open I was still able to get some work done because of the lack of stomach crap ( Read more... )

Think good thoughts for me in the coming days.. I am one of two finalists for a grant administrator position at the U. Interviews and tests have gone well, and it's pretty much just down to a waiting game. I should hear something early to mid next week.
