Pex 2.0 and SG-1

fizzixrat's lead, I have upgraded my LJ to a Plus Account. Yes, there are ads on my page now, but if you're like me, you tend to view new entries via the Friends page anyway, so hopefully it won't be too much of a nuisance. Even if it is, I get 15 Userpics again, instead of the paltry six I've been using, so just be happy for me, okay? :P
In other news, my mother surprised me recently by buying me the first two seasons of Stargate SG-1 from the local Wal-Mart. It's a series I have contemplated collecting, but have never actually seen before. Luckily, the sets are of the thin-pak variety, and won't take up too much space on my shelf. I wish I had the thin-paks of Buffy and Angel, but I can't justify buying them all again solely for the packaging. Ah well, even the fold-out sets are miles ahead of the travesty that is the Sliders packaging.
Don't know when I'll get around to watching them, but I've got them, at least. Only eight more to go and then I can start on Atlantis...
