Garlic

It's been a busy few weeks at home - first with me getting the flu and my birthday and then with Al coming home. Now it's just the usual rush up to Christmas - gotta get presents, gotta get work done, gotta do homework. Nadia is coming to London for 12 hours a couple days before Christmas - so it will be fun to catch up with her with a crazy night out on the town.

I finished my Yoga course this week - next week it's off to the regular classes. My teacher Sam was great - really emphasized exactly what the aim and fundamentals of each posture is. It was good for me to get those down, so I don't need to worry about not touching my toes. Now I just have to get a book so I can remember the names of the different postures and practice at home. I don't really enjoy a sweaty, tiring, Yoga session - just doing easiest variation leaves me feeling achy enough the next day - but when I went to some drop in classes at the Yoga Home the day after I could barely walk. I just don't have the strength yet (esp upper body) to do a practice without taking lots of little breaks. I hope that the regular 'gentle' drop in classes at Yoga Junction are good. I have a feeling they will be. http://www.yogajunction.co.uk/

Made an apple pie yesterday while Al made risotto and garlic bread. My hand still smell of garlic! Oh no!
