A blade in hand
The heat wave seems to have passed. (104 degree temps, with 126 degree heat index, is not conducive to a good outdoor practice.) So I called a fencing practice. The rest of the active Baronial fencers showed up but he forgot his mask. We spent an hour doing drills. I thought it was productive, certainly more-so than watching a Disney movie with the four year old. The amusing part came half way through the evening when my partner said, "Hey, my stance is better and my parries are faster. I think this stuff works."
