FINALLY, after ordering a hard drive and finding out it was backordered and checking with customer service to make sure it was ready and going to pick it up and finding out it wasn't ready and calling back on Monday and being told it was no longer available and having to pick another model and waiting for it to be ready and going to pick it up and being told it had already been picked up and then getting the thing in the car and making a turn too fast which made it go tumbling across the front seat banging into hard things and examining the bag and realizing they hadn't done the testing I ordered and calling them three times and being told that yes they screwed up by not testing it and no I was not charged for testing and I could go ahead and install it and if it didn't work they wouldn't be bitchy about it because they'd already screwed up so much and then installing the thing, I am back online.  It was just as much fun as it sounds.

Email recovery is in progress, but I'm oddly not bolted to my computer chair.  Guess I've bonded a little too closely with my couch over the last month, and forgotten how addictive all this newfangled technological stuff can be.  I'll catch up.

Not sure about the weekend.  I wanted to go to Shiokazecon, but it looks like I'd have to go alone and I'm having second thoughts about my motivation level.  Plus downtown Houston =/= love.  Not really committed to anything at this point.

I think I'm sleepy.  Hard to tell these days.  I do know, however, that I need some serious exfoliating.
