This week turned out to be lots of tossin' and rockin'.
The bad (and not so relatively bad)
- The death of Rosa Parks.
- 2,000 Americans dead in Iraq (and counting).
- Countless Iraqi people dead (and counting).
- Hurricane Wilma.
- Getting a "B" on a midterm. Not particularly pleased with this one. With Biology, I would've been perfectly content with a "B," but this is Business.
The good
- Harriet Miers withdraws her nomination for Supreme Court.
- Martha Stewart's "Apprentice" series is getting a beating on the ratings.
- Week 5 is over, which means there are 5 more weeks remaining in fall term.
- Got an "A" on another midterm. This is the way it should be.
The unknown
- Supreme Court justice nomination.
- The midterm I just took this morning. There are no indications so far that I did poorly on it, but one never knows.
- The internship positions I've been applying for.
I keep on getting calls on my cell phone from a number in Minnesota. This person has been calling at least twice a day for the last week, and never leaves a message. I either have to block the number (don't know how), or pick up the call and ask him what he's wearing, and that I like it nice n' rough. The latter option does sound pretty amusing, and I'm actually thinking of using it.
