1) saturnoolaa has brought back the Annual Muffin Puffin Tournament, "in which 32 fictional characters fight the ultimate battle for the title of 'Muffin Puffin', with the assistance of some lj polls". You know how in Lea Monde you get these little squares that aren't quite square-shaped and there are tiny passageways branching off from the corners instead of the middle and when you're in the passageway you can't see what's ahead or behind on the map and the walls are really high and about as far apart as Ashley's shoulders and then suddenly ( Read more... )

My hotel is directly in front of the S. Zaccaria vaporetto stop, which is about 100m from Piazza S. Marco. The first thing I see when I walk out the door is S. Giorgio Maggiore and its clock tower, which I'm starting to realize is a ridiculous location for all those goings-on in JoJo (though no better or worse than, say, Cape Canaveral).
