Me versus SSBB deadline is going down to the wire. This is why it's a bad idea to put me in charge of a fandom project. I can't handle the heat, My BNF meter is in the red, just now I had to slap down a newbie for spoilering on the Mirage of Blaze ML. Next step: wank!
Still I promised Tania to blog the following. In the food court of the Faubourg mall near Concordia there's this joint called Bao Tao Taiwan that serves up ridiculous hometown portions for rock-bottom prices. Due to high concentration of starving students there are a number of places in that neighbourhood where you can stuff your face for 5.50$, but there the food is actually pretty good. Complimentary soup, seaweed salad, Chinese pickles, red-cooked egg, you get the idea. After eating Tania and I played a number of variations on the infamous Pick Twelve Characters Meme, of which the most elegant variation is simply the following: I list ten characters, she lists ten characters, we pair them up by number. And then we negotiate.
I'm not sure how to turn this into a meme, since it needs two people. I suppose the easiest way is, if you want to do it, to make up your list before you look at mine (or whomever you get this from). And then stick the results behind a cut, thusly:

First there was an argument over whether Schuldig could, in fact, read Ginji's mind, which came down to whether thought waves were electromagnetic. Then we realised reading Ginji's mind is largely pointless; you're unlikely to learn anything you don't know already from talking to him. =_=; Schuldig would upset Ginji for the hell of it, of course, unless he didn't feel like getting fried to a crisp in which case they'd go out for ice cream.
After a while we realised the action of real interest was over in the next elevator, where Ban was now stuck with Crawford.
2. Tatsumi x Duo
And here we have Tatsumi and... another cute genki brown-haired violet-eyed shinigami with an angsty past. Well, that's all right then!
3. Inui x Akira
Both quiet intelligent types a bit out of step with boys their own age. I dunno, for some reason I quite like this idea. Their conversations would probably involve game theory.
4. Hanamichi x Shuuichi
An awesome way to destroy Tokyo. Someone should write it.
5. Gunter x Takumi
*sneeeerk* I can't even come up with anything specific for this but I am convinced it could work in fic. Like, it's one of those cases where if you left these two people alone in the house and came back after a few hours you would find them engaged in some ridiculous activity, and when you asked them WTF they're doing they'd just be like, "I dunno, what are we doing? At some point this seemed like a good idea. o_o"
6. Zechs x Nagi
Hey, it looks pretty hot.
7. 8. Atobe x Wolfram
CLEARLY MEANT TO BE, NO I MEAN WHAT ARE THE ODDS. Seriously, I have seen the light and this is my new OTP. Their love is the snootiest ever. Ever. In fact it is not so much a pairing as it is a club so exclusive there are only two people in it, and they amuse themselves tormenting Draco Malfoy by making up reasons to deny him, er, entry.
9. Asami x K
WE HAVE FULFILLED OUR GUNS AND SMIRKAGE QUOTIENT DU JOUR. Someone should also write this; optimally the story should involve a high speed car chase.
10. Reiji x Wufei
Swordsmen! You'd have to AU this but once you did it could really work out.
...It's easier because at least you know it's a pairing meme going in, so you try to pick a decent mix of semes/ukes/sexual beings.
