Cold War Politics
There is a new hire at work who is Russian, and has an accent like Borat from the Ali G show. He is a funny guy, sometimes the humor comes out from our differences in culture, and sometimes the English language. Without that, he is still a funny dude.
So yesterday me and a few coworkers were standing around his desk. On top of his computer he has a balsa wood airplane, and he throws it at me, hitting me in the chest. Then he replies, just like the World Trade Center. We all bust out laughing. We were in shock, because he is pretty reserved, and two he probably could get in a lot of trouble if he said that in front of the wrong people, or managers. And thirdly we have no soul.
I guess us Americans deserved that comment from Vlad, all week I was giving him gruff for Rocky defeating Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. I guess that was there WTC.
