Last night I figured out how to download images from my new Canon Powershot A650 directly into my computer. Very cool. Today I kept my camera with me all day and chronicled events as they unfolded. Unfortunately, it wasn't a terribly exciting day. But maybe that's the point, recording whatever happens, good or bad, earth-shattering or routine.

My baby got his stitches out today. No more blue threads hanging from his chin. I'd post before-and-after pictures, but since I only just ordered the camera, I can't take any.

I spoke too soon. The doorbell just rang, and it was the UPS guy with my new camera. Can't wait to open it!

I finally ordered my new camera! I've been without one since my trusty old Pentax film camera died a few months ago. It was time to go digital, and I've been researching what's available for some time.
