HOW MUCH ARSE DOES IANTO KICK?!

I'm still liking Gwen more, but that whole stupid "I'm kissing Rhys but I'm looking at YOU, Jack"/"I would!" thing was rubbish. Those two have no chemistry whatsoever, I'm sorry. They just have to let it go.

I loved the Tosh/Owen bonding session in front of the ridiculously fake-looking giant alien manatee. How AWESOME ( Read more... )

Yeah the whole Gwen/Jack thing just strikes me like the chemistry between a brother and a sister, not between lovers. Especially since Jack is SO with Ianto, it's past the point of canon. I like the idea of Tosh/Owen...dunno why...

I like Tosh/Owen too, and I assume they'll address that in some way (possibly next week?). You're right, Jack/Ianto is so established now there's no point even TRYING to challenge it. I suppose the extent to which they explore that in each episode depends on the individual writer. Jack/Gwen is going nowhere, but for some reason they seem to be pursuing it, even if only on a low level. Oh well. At least Ianto is being awesome.

I LOVE your icon!! ROFL!!

I haven't seen this week's episode (I'm in the US, we get it on Saturdays) but I already knew there was definite kick ass Ianto action going on (my friend spilled the beans, but that's alright). I think the person who pursues the Jack/Gwen stuff I think just likes to keep us on our toes concerning Jack's sexuality. Keep us guessing as to who he truly loves (though we already know the answer to that question...)

Thanks! I nicked it from someone else, so feel free to use it as long as you credit them.

Ianto does not disappoint, trust me. I was fond of him last series, but this time around he's BRILLIANT. I mean, before he basically just walked around making the odd witty comment and going psycho, but this time around he gets to make the witty comments AND walk around going psycho, but in a GOOD way, AND have a load of gay moments with Jack and just generally be an awesome guy.

HOW MUCH ARSE DOES IANTO KICK?!

ALL THE ARSE. THEY HAVE TO IMPORT ARSE FROM OTHER DIMENSIONS FOR HIM TO KICK IT. NOW HE SHOULD KICK JACK'S ARSE, BECAUSE JACK IS BEING A COLLOSSAL KNOB.

WHY WAS HE NEARLY CRYING IN GWEN'S FACE?! WTF WAS THAT?

I haave this theory that there's a het (anti-slash) vs slash shipper war taknig place between the Torchwood writers.

I totally agree! We usually get two gay episodes for every straight one, though, so it all works out I think.

I'd just like to say that I'm terribly jealous that you're getting it in real time and I have to wait until my torrent finishes.

Not that I torrent anything.

:-(

How do you think I feel about House? I'm on tenterhooks for S4. Whatever tenterhooks are. Sound like camping equipment. Anyway! Yeah, it sucks having to wait for something while everybody else is buzzing about it, so I sympathise.

Hence then need for the global communications network, maybe something where a bunch of computers are linked together so that we could all share shows at the same time.

Oh, wait...

:-) Ah well. I guess we'll just wait for the day.

Heh. I feel like I'm cheating if I do that. Pathetic, isn't it?

I guess you know we're on totally different pages here regarding who and what Jack has the most love/chemistry with. But I love you anyway. At least I don't have to write any canon-subversion, this isn't really happening in front of my face, fiction this week, which is a relief.

I know, I know. I'd stop going on about it, I really would, if not for the fact that Ianto KICKS SO MUCH ARSE.

Sorry. If you prefer I could talk about the wicked Jack/manatee UST? That would be some fun porn to write. Or some Jack/fishhead hate!sex? I can totally see that happening.

I love this fandom, because those could almost work.

Seriously, though, I do apologise. I can imagine how annoying it is for me to keep going on about how Ianto KICKS SO MUCH ARSE...

Actually I have no problem with the "Ianto Kicking Arse" stuff. I can see some of it, although not to the extent that you do. It's just when the Kicking Arse is a segue into "JACK WUVS IANTO MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THE UNIVERSE" that my gag reflex kicks into over-drive.

The Jack/Manatee thing was just fucking weird and not all that sexy oddly enough, although Jack blowing fishhead into oblivion was seriously awesome. Not sure when the hatesex could have commenced in that scenario, however.

I still want to know about the detective-inspector with the biggest hands Jack had ever scene or some good-cop/bad-cop action with Kathy Swanson. Or the two executioners he woke up in bed with. There's just so much great Jack!sex to talk about that the idea of leaving him stuck with this guy just doesn't work for me.
