"Whatever happened to the Popular Front?"

"He's over there."

Monty Python triple bill! I didn't take wine in the end but I took whisky in a hip-flask and had lots and lots and lots of coffee and didn't get to sleep last night. I went home with a bisexual type called Caz but we didn't have sex or anything. We had tea and cheese on toast and talked for hours and hours, which might end up being something and might equally well not. We met before one time. She says I'm weird but it's endearing. Anyway.

Did anybody watch Bodies ever? It probably didn't go to the US actually. It's brilliant, I saw the second series but not the first so I borrowed the first series from the university library and I watched the first episode earlier on, I mean yesterday, it's amazing, do you remember Max Beesley from Tom Jones? He's in it, he's really good. You should watch it.

I went to see Ratatouille earlier on (film jag), it's great, tiny tiny bit overlong but other than that I'd really recommend it.

I was sitting by the fountain outside the Electric Press earlier on (I'll take some pictures of things at some point, but I don't have my pluggy-inny thing at the moment) and there were all these children playing around it, it quite freaked me, they could fall in. I'm quite protective and sentimental about children, especially since last year. I'm glad I'm a woman otherwise I could probably get arrested for watching children, but I was worried about them, sometimes their parents weren't watching, it's dangerous, I had to rescue a little boy who fell over on an escalator a few weeks ago, and an old woman banged her head this morning. Is that relevant? I don't know.

Oh God.

Oh oh, what's that song that goes "stop your hanging around, time to think of your future", or something similar? It was the theme tune of Outlaws.

I finished The Tin Drum. I had to go and read some Lit Crit in Waterstones to figure out what the hell was going on, great book though. Well no, I mean I knew what was going on, but I wasn't quite sure whether my ideas about the symbolism were correct, and I didn't find anything confirming them but that doesn't mean they're wrong of course, I did find some other ideas though, interesting but only mentioned briefly, I could only find a few pages on it in various books.
