I had an up-and-down kind of day. I didn't get into the play, which is a shame. I did finish Mrs Dalloway, though, which I really enjoyed. I remember the first year of sixth form college, when we only had to read about four or five books, and half the time we read most of them in class. Those were the (incredibly frustrating, but less stressful) ( Read more... )

YOU THINK YOURS IS LAME? I DON'T EVEN HAVE A PICTURE. I AM ZOOT.

FACEBOOK ACTUALLY SCARES ME A TINY BIT. IT SEEMS LIKE THE SORT OF THING THAT NORMAL PEOPLE DO, AND I CAN'T BE HAVING THAT.

Aw, sorry about not getting cast.

Never read Mrs. Dalloway, but I've read To the Lighthouse and A Room of One's Own, and I disliked both of them. Sure, they were absolutely, brilliant moments, but I have a hard time sitting down to relax with some V. Woolf.

There's actually a very very edited version of Room of One's Own in the Theory & Crit anthology I have. I just read it tonight and thought it was very thought-provoking, although I do find Woolf subjective. I tend to prefer more balance. Still, she has interesting ideas. My main point of reference is Mrs D, though, which certainly has its flaws but which I thought was extremely worthwhile.

Had another audition this evening, so I'll see how that one goes. It's the last one this semester, so if I don't get in then at least I can relax for a bit, and get on top of things. It's 4.48 Psychosis, which I've never read or seen, but from what I saw today it seems amazing, and I've heard great things about it. We shall see...

AS IN "I LOVE YOU"? I SHAMELESSLY WATCHED IT TODAY IN THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY WITH MY IPOD EARPHONES AND I COULDN'T SQUEE OR ANYTHING. BUT IT WAS INDEED MOST WONDERFUL. TO BE FAIR, HE SAID IT TO CAMERON THAT TIME, BUT THAT WAS ONLY BECAUSE HE NEEDED TO SWAB HER GUMS, WHICH SO DOES NOT COUNT.

NOT THAT I HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON IN THAT SCENE, BUT VERILY IT MATTERS NOT.

I promise NO SPOILERS, when you do get the new House season, you will be happy. (At least up to episode 3.)

Work sucks. Writing is progressing.

I... haven't been staying as spoiler-free as I meant to. It does indeed look ridiculously gay. Gayer than a rainbow having sex with another rainbow of the same gender.

Sorry about work. What you writin'?

Ooh, you've made me want to rewatch those episodes now, they were two of the best. I'd completely forgotten about Algy, it's been so long since I saw them. Even with my sketchy memories, though, I loved the fic, especially the final scene. I'm a sucker for a bittersweet ending.

Your Jack voice is great. He's such a fun character, isn't he?
