Torchwood: Out of Time
I don't know about the rest of the world, but I thought it was pretty damn good, myself. Just a few things bothered me:
1. What happened to Gwen/Owen? Did it just fizzle out?
2. Jack and Ianto got, what, fifteen seconds together? The only truly couple-y moment was when Ianto threw Jack his coat. Even if they're just screwing, I was hoping for more knowing eye contact. Owen and Gwen got bleedin' This-is-Your-Lives devoted to them when they were doing the nasty.
3. The Jack-bonding-with-the-guy thing didn't ring as true as the other two relationships, for me. Thought the tear was pushing it a bit, given that he didn't even cry for Suzie.
HOWEVER, the writing was much better this week, the plot was more fun, and Eve Miles gave a really good performance. And Olivia Hallinan is hot (it's OK, I'm allowed to say that, she's about 22 in real life). And... CHEEKBONES!
