Jobs continued
I've had some luck in finding 2 jobs locally. One with a power company and another with a place a friend is already working and loves. I have yet to get called in for an interview though and have only had the recruitment firms call me to see if I would be available for such. I hope to be called in this week some time.
At the same time, I am hoping to hear back from the Sr Program Manager position in Atlanta. I had the 'final' interview and it went very well. It was just a fit-and-feel interview. Unfortunately they now likely have a 'come in and meet the team before we make an offer' interview, during which they still might be meeting with several folks. So I'm not sure how I'm going to juggle getting to Atlanta while having in-person interviews being lined up here in Portland =/
The bay area job (PM/Psych) interview essentially couldn't have gone better. Still, I know they're having a lot of applicants so worry they might go for someone who is local. =/ It's the one job I've ever come across that actually sounded awesome in all aspects.
The other two infra PM jobs also have closed interviews and are likely making decisions this week. Or at least I hope. One is unlikely to pan out as it was with ACS which wound up in the news this last week as an acquisition target by Xerox =/ Oh well. This still leaves 5 job possibilities all hopefully becoming go/no-go this week.
Now just to fly some more....
