Interesting timing though.... I was just this second chatting to someone about those deaths and how much they must weigh on Sam and Dean. This picture captures that. Though I curious about your choice to have Sam smiling..I'd be interested to know your thoughts behind that.
Thanks gor sharing. I have been really enjoying your snapshots. Looks like a lot of work. <3
Thanks gor sharing. I have been really enjoying your snapshots. Looks like a lot of work. Don't tell me about it :/ I signed up for these snapshots because I wanted to do something quick and simple but things are going completely out of hands! My next entry has 8 pages :S
Though I curious about your choice to have Sam smiling.. I wanted a contrast between the skulls and the boys. I don't know what people will notice first, the skull or S&D but either way they will see a contrast between the boys' happiness (particularly Sam) and the big skull which represents death. IDK if I am very clear here ^^
Thanks a lot for the great comment about my work ♥
Thanks for your answer. I think I noticed the boys first and then the skull. Then I read the text, which was very poignant and sad. And yes... I can see the contrast between his happiness and death seemingly looming behind them. Maybe it's Sam laughing in the face of death..
The drawing is amazing. I might have expected something even more depressing (one of the boys dying probably), but the way you interpreted the prompt is amazing.
Don't worry, I still have 24 entries to make the Winchesters die violently ^^ I think I will do it at least once or twice, I don't know for which entry yet! ;) I just have to wait for the right occasion :D Thanks a lot for the great comment about my work ♥
I like the way we can see boys up close and a scull from far point. Really symbolic. Also I'm a bit glad that "Death picture" is not about Winchesters dying bloodily and painfully but more about symbols and sad stories.
