I mean; the Rose talk, the River problem (which poses a real problem when Donna becomes a Time Lady or somehow gets her forever#), the Noble family's approval and Martha's approval (though those two are done all the time) and, obviously, one of Jack's sex joke. To tell you the truth, I never read a Ten/Rose fic. Not really. The only one I read was... Well, nice writing style and vocabulary but I stopped in the middle of it cuz... Ugh, just thinking about Ten/Rose made me sick. It was automatic reflex or something. And you don't want to know what face I'm doing right now, just talking about it. Ten2/Rose is my limit.

For River, I have no idea, since I haven't touched S5 yet. But I thought about the daughter thing (it's on my list of prompts/plotbunnies I'll never do cuz I can't write for the life of me), I think- No wait, I know it could work. You should rewatch SitL and FotD because I think River's point of view in these need to be thought about. Like "Omfg, Mom's face is on Node! Wait, she can't be dead, I'm still here! Okay, timelines are still okay, let's get Dad out of here." And don't forget her name. If she's Donna's daughter, why isn't she called Noble? And why would they call her River? And why she would become an archeologist when Dad have a TARDIS? (To piss him off, probably.)

I, too, have trouble reading Ten/Rose. The trouble is that i adore babyfic, and that it's been very difficult for me to find any that isn't Ten/Rose or Handy/Rose. I do usually give up partway through or skim to more interesting parts. There really are some good writers out there, but i'm sorry, that pairing just makes me nauseous and is usually wildly out of character. I think i need to go back to the authors that i know i like and read what they wrote before i came to this fandom. But still, i agree that the Ten/Donna babyfic is not there, they don't exist at all, or they ignore things (some of them are very good despite this, but i want things to be explained/handled in fics).
I'm sorry, i do love River (even more for s5, she's my favorite part about it), but her name sounds completely made up. Besides, for all we know, it could be a loose translation of the Doctor's last name but he never connected the dots because Gallifreyan names are multi-layered and he doesn't think about his name. Maybe.
River does a lot of things to piss off the Doctor. xD
