I've heard about your end of the race photos. I'm not sure if anna would be too pleased with this one Jackson.

I told her about it and she wanted me to post it. Also, today I ran an 18:35 minute race. That's three 6 minute miles in a row. I therefore crossed the line in plenty of time to have my camera out by the time the next grimsley person even came into view at the finish. I know it seems boastful to mention but ive put so much effort and pain into it that ive gotta tell people when i get results. Therefore, I dont care if it makes me cocky, im proud and i admit it. Im stoked.

I just stuck them into some cheap photo storage program that comes with HP computers and slid the "contrast" bar to the right. Any professional photos you see have been edited at least this way, even film, because it can be done in the darkroom. It is absolutely essential to creating professional level photos and doesnt change the overall effect of the photo. therefore i dont feel like im cheating at all. Anyway, thanks. I like the colors too. They were there before the contrast thing, it just made them stand out more.

Also, I find that any time you convert to black and white, you lose a tremendous amount of contrast. Without the colors, the only contrast comes from the values. Without editing it is often even hard to distinguish what is going on in the picture at a glance, because nothing comes forward. Therefore good black and white pictures that have white whites and black blacks have always been contrast-edited.

That picture really does capture Jackson's personality. And Anna's face is priceless.

Thank you. I smile every time i look at that picture of Jackson. I had dinner at Elizabeth's tonight after the meet with him and Will Robinson. As we were going in, we were accosted by ANOTHER JACKSON. WITH RED HAIR. we were both blown away at his audacity. he changed our perceptions of what Jacksons can be defined as.

Also, do you like the power line shots? I am actually more fond of those than the portraits.

I suppose this is your subtle hint that you find my photos annoying on your friends page, and would prefer me to hide them. Very encouraging. Thanks for also commenting on the pics while you were at it.

I'll use that next time.

Hey now, that's not what I meant, not at all. The pictures are awesome, as usual, but there wasn't much reason for me to say it because you know it already because everyone has said it. But that doesn't make it less true. You know I don't have superinternet. I'm sorry it came out like that.

Thank you. I took your comment in a negative way because you tend to be very fickle in your level of frindliness toward me and are, at times, with no warning and for no apparent reason, incredibly negative towards me. I thought this might have been one of those lapses in kindness. Also because it seemed strange to give me a tip on how to hide the pictures without giving any comment on the actual shots, when everyone knows I am shockingly desparate for critique. Sincerely, though, (now that I know your good intentions) thanks for the tip. I had been wondering how Juliet hid the rest of her pictures, and now I know. I will use that in the future, thanks to Emma.

The Picture of Jackson is pretty nice. I think thats my favorite. Personally the noise in the sky pictures bothers me, especially at the top of the first one, but I suppose thats just a matter of preference. The colors are beautiful. Those truly will be excellent if you retake them with a tripod.

I also like the ducksman a lot.
