finally
let me start out by apologizing to the 3 people that actually still check to see if i've written anything on any kind of regular basis. i have no excuses other than the fact that i've been lazy and uninspired to write anything. school started last week so my days have rapidly become devoted to reading and studying history. should be a good semester.
i am happy to report that i am now the proud owner of a mac mini. no longer will i have to live under the oppresive rule of bill gates and his microsoft dictatorship. at last, i am free to enjoy the splendor of safari, tiger, and most importantly garageband. for those of you that don't know what that is, it is a mac program that is the equivilent to a complete recording studio and drum machine. with this new program i will finally be able to start work on my solo project as well as musical endevors with the hit cross-genre band Johnny 5 and the punk-metal band that is taking the nation by force known as Hitlerstache. if you haven't heard of these bands yet, you are in for a real treat.
things on the homefront are quite well and i am overjoyed to share with everyone that my best good buddy from back home, Jared, got engaged over the summer. I couldn't be happier him and his bride-to-be, Wendy. also, my roommate, Shaved Head Chris celebrated his 21st this past weekend. it was a most excellent birthday.
hope all is well with everyone in their respective parts of the world. be sure to keep the big easy in your thoughts as this disaster continues to unfold in front of our eyes. vrede en liefde.
