Amish Cockscomb
This morning I started seed for Celosia. It's not the most native plant, but they dry well and are some of Leah's favorites.
Everything else is sprouted and growing. There were very few seeds that didn't sprout, so we'll have to give some plants away. I've already talked to a couple coworkers who are interested.
The weather has been disappointing. The Vernal Equinox (March 20th) came and went and the sun was out and temps were in the upper 50s. Everyone was jogging, biking and active! Suddenly the temperatures are lucky to get to the upper 20s. It snows but immediately melts. It's really a practice in patience to not rush out and start planting and to follow a written schedule.
