Conooga -=- Success!!
Conooga was great. Saturday’s ConSociology 314(Advanced Flirting)workshop was packed, standing room only, people were sitting on the floor and standing along the walls. We had the usual good time during the workshop and great conversation afterward in the hallway. But what really made my weekend and is confirmation that our workshops are having a positive affect.
Late on the second night at one of the many room parties two guys came up to us and told us that during our 314 workshop they realized that they had been doing a lot of the “don’t do these” things that we talked about. Following our advice they decided that they were going to totally focus on the interactions with each individual they talked to, that they would simply talk and connect with everyone they could, without an agenda.
They were excited to report that not only did they have more fun at this con then at any other, but while they were having fun connecting with all of these people they were also connecting with the women that they had been trying and failing to connect with before our workshop.
"Making the world a better place through the flirting", it is what we do!!
