No lighty

So, this evening, I had a go a finding out why the outside light by my front door wasn't working. After managing to wrestle the shade off, I found a good inch of water inside. Which explains why the bulb wasn't for lighting

I suspect there is all manner of corrosion in there - i don't know how long the water has been inside the lamp. Nor, for that matter, where the water came from.

I've just sent the management company an e-mither to see what the caper is with fixing it.
