Ford Lake on August 2
OK, it's time to drag out some more old photos. I have no recollection about this walk, except that I spotted this carp under the water by the boardwalk at Ford Lake:
I also vaguely recall that this woodchuck was Groundhogging by the weird little green spot with a picnic table that I've never seen anyone use along the path back up from the lake:
In other news, today I got myself a University of Michigan library card. They cost $250 a year for people not connected to the university, and $125 for alumni. But I recently discovered that they are free for faculty of other Michigan colleges and universities. So I just had to flash my faculty ID and fill out a wee form, and now I have two very thick, heavy books for the next four months! WHEEEE!!!!
Oh, and I've painted all the plaster/drywall repairs, and moved my furniture back.
