Reading a book by andpuff about a mummy with "Some Believe" by quadrivium in my head, noticing a Professor von Thorn, and starting the next chapter reading a quote from "Ozymandyas," and hearing it in my head the voice of catsittingstill's mimmoth.

Filkers are just so cool.

hee hee hee... I can't wander around the Greenwood neighborhood, which is served by the route that comes between "4" and "6", without hearing vixyish's metafilk on cadhla's song about selkies leaving...

That is a nifty feeling, isn't it? My work music mixes are liberally dotted with filk, and I love it when someone praises a song and I say, "isn't it great? I know the writer/composer/performer."
