What kind of bad jobs are you talking about? What happened to the web design?
Am graduating June 26. With two Firsts (honors), if I pass my final comps in two weeks.
Have not slept since March, am going slowly crazy. Angelo says HI and he owes you Crackerjack (basically, in Angelo-speak).

I am the world's worst gift-giver. I don't know what I'm getting her yet. I still have a few days to figure it out, though.
I'm currently working as a service technician at a national corporation. It's food service. I work the drive thru. I'm also doing a little bit of freelance web stuff, but the paper here where I had all my contacts shut down, so that's nothing steady. I'm trying to get an internship at a lab, but that's gone nowhere so far.
Congrats on the near-graduation! You'll do just fine with your comps. And if you don't, you'll terrify the professors into passing you. And once any of that happens, you'll finally get to sleep. Glorious sleep! I barely remember what it's like.

Drive-thru. My brain bleeds at the image. I'm sorry New York's recovery is slowing down your job search, but glad you're solvent, anyway. No more super-villainy types sifting through the rubble and making trouble?
I have the papers all but done-- research complete, I just have to write the conclusions and rewrite the introductions. They might bring in a ringer at the exam and ask me questions in Chinese. In which case they will get treated to some of Zero's Cantonese. That should shut them up.
SLEEP. God. Between work, school and playing umpire to the Think Tank Terrors, I may have evolved the ability to sleep with my eyes open during class.

Oh, there are bad guys all over the place. They're having a field day with New York being a mess and half of the superheroes being dead. That's the cause of my lack of sleep more than anything.
How much of Zero's Cantonese is actual Cantonese anyway? And how much of it is things that shouldn't be repeated?
And that actually sounds like a good ability. Think you could teach me how to do it?

Any time. And here's hoping your extra-curricular work doesn't interfere on Zero's birthday-- although she might think that's fun too.
I'm sorry about all the superheroes who died. Maybe it's my time in Fandom, but I never think of the good guys losing like that.
It's 50-50 Zero-Cantonese-Swearing to Real Cantonese. It's still extremely descriptive, and gets the point across. Or possibly that's just Zero.
... I zone out, focus on one point, and then repeat I don't care what they're saying MUST SLEEP ten times and then usually I don't come back unless there's a loud noise or someone jostles me. I get 5 minute catnaps this way. Here's hoping it works for you.
