Peter & Zero's apartment, New York, Sunday morning
Peter could appreciate a three day weekend. The past few months had been so hectic that he felt he could get away with just one long weekend answering to no one but himself and his girlfriend. And the sounds of explosions or gunfire if he happened to hear them. The important thing was that he wasn't going to go out seeking those right now.
Instead, he was taking some time to rest up and finally send out a message to his friends.

Hey guys,
Been a while, lots of things have happened. In case you haven't heard, Zero and I are in New York now. My New York. The weird one with superpowers that was very nearly destroyed back in December. I've been a little busy since then, and that's why I haven't written in a while. Lots of reconstruction, lots of stopping looting, and lots of bad jobs to make ends meet. Good times.
Anyway, what's up with you guys? Anything exciting? And if so, hopefully in a good way?
