As our next technological toy/investment, we're thinking of the Kindle Fire. It was recently pointed out that an Android Tablet may be a better investment in the long run. Pros/cons of each from the owners and fans of said devices would be appreciated. Thanks folks!

iGoogle is going away! Just when I really get to like something they either fuck it up or discontinue it. Grrr.

How would I go about converting movies (MPEG or WMA files) to a format I could watch on my iPod. They are in my iTunes library but don't sync.

I'm importing my collection into iTunes a little bit at a time. It's going swimmingly (more on that later) but gives me moments of amusement. Today was a just SUCKTASTIC day. There was however one redeeming bright spot. My phone crashed and the entire system was wiped out. Contacts, pictures, programs, everything. While that could have been the icing on the cake, I had everything back to the way it was in less than a half hour! :)

Here comes MozillaI decided to upgrade to Firefox instead of IE8. I've had a number of friends rave about it and have liked the interface the times that I have used it.
