Last weekend was TESFest and while it was for the most part quite nice, part of me couldn't help feel out of place. This feeling wasn't unique to the event of course. At home, at work, with family, friends, and even my partners. I just don't feel I 'belong' anywhere anymore. I've tried to fill that feeling with things, most coming from all the wrong places.
The last several months in my life have been strewn with upheaval and change, and it all seems to blur together somehow. Being tied to more things now means I don't have the luxury to just 'disappear' as I have done before. While I've never been the most 'put-together' fellow, I seemed to have a handle on where I should be. Most especially recently I had a course charted and now find myself adrift. There's no questions or answers here, there just is what is. And so we drift.
