Mid Summer Mixed Bag
Hello Kiddies,
Life in the HSB is rolling merrily along. Summer shutdown is behind us, and once you pick up that first case it's like you never left. I brought my car in for service today and they offered me a trade in for better money. I'm a bit torn on the subject. While having a newer car is always nice, I thought I'd be driving this one til the end. I'll see what kind of deal they put on the table and if there's any significant design changes in the new Fit. I might want to strike while the iron is hot though and the depreciation isn't too bad.
Speaking of, the great albatross has finally left us. The weight is off my shoulders and my mind. We bit the bullet and took the bath. I think I may dispose of the remnants in a ceremony of some sort.
There's a fabulous announcement that's been made just about everywhere but here. :) I have a good one coming.
Spent time talking to some of the newer TES members and Board Members recently & there also seems to be a nice bunch running this year. The temptation to get involved is always there, but I think helping out in a few small areas may be a nice thing to do.
My Renewed Driver's License has a nice picture of me with my now-short hair. It glows in the dark too. :)
Little things like a new keyboard for your phone, a reissued KISS record, or a new book in your favorite series can really make you smile.
I saved two cats this week, and I don't even like cats. Go figure.
There's a number staring at me as I approach. I am dreading it like death itself. In one week. I'm. Going. To. Be. 40. Who knew I'd make it this far? Those that want to send good wishes, congratulations, condolences, or simply marvel at my complete lack of taste, my Amazon Wish List is here.

Here's the last video of the month. A favorite song from a CD we've been been spinning quite a bit. These songs are great, I may seek out the originals. Who knew Country could be as cool as Reggae? If you know any die hard Country Music fans, consider giving this to them (from far away). I Man is from WEST Jamaica! :)
