Carpenters tv commercial
I love the Carpenters..... I have all their studio recordings. So I searched youtube and found this clip. It is a tv commercial, around 1976, made for a Japanese audience. This is why there are subtitiles. The warmth of Karen's voice comes shining through, along with the velvety arrangement certainly created by her brother Richard.

Once again though, I find it awkward seeing the two of them in sort of a romantic setting together. And especially awkward when she sings "from the love comes a child." On album covers and photos they often looked like a couple; meanwhile they are brother and sister. That was some strange marketing.
